Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
We have developed self storage facilities in Prince George's county for 15 years. Our most recent location in Lanham opened in May, 2016.
What is your primary product or service?
Rental of self storage spaces on a month to month basis.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our motto is simple - "Exceed the customer's expectations". We compare ourselves to being like the local hardware store and look and the properties owned by large public corporations as big box retailers. When people need self storage, it is frequently the result of a stressful time in their lives. We try to make the process a simple "one-stop shop" by offering a complete line of packing supplies and also offer new renters the opportunity to use our truck to move in.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location open but have two other in the development process.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are conveniently location at 9641 Annapolis Road in Lahnam. From the Beltway, exit east onto Md. 450 - we are located two miles up on the right hand side at the intersection of Forbes Blvd.
What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit cards, checks, ACH and of course cash.
Which areas do you service?
We are convenient to residents of Bowie, Greenbelt, Hyattsville Landover, Lanham and New Carrolton.

We are a privately held company. Chris Potash (cpotash@selfstoragezone.com) is our Vice President of Operations and Michael Bernard (mbernard@selfstoragezone.com) is our Area Manager.
What are your hours of operation?
Our sites are open daily at 9:00am and close at 6:00pm Monday- Wednesday and Saturday and until 7:00pm on Thursday and Friday. Sunday hours are from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Tenants enjoy keypad access to the property from 6:00am - 10:00pm 365 days a year.
