Lifesprings Eldercare, Inc. has been in operation since 1993. Yes, for over nineteen years, we’ve been on your side making the quality of life better for seniors. The decision for placement in an assisted living facility is a difficult one. We’re here to make it a little easier.
Lifesprings Eldercare, Inc. owns and operates three licensed Assisted Living facilities with a total of twenty-four beds in the Temple Hills area. We provide quality residential care for seniors in a loving, home-like environment.
The facilities are operated by health care professionals, one of whom is a licensed Social Worker and the other has a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration. A registered nurse rounds out our team of administrators. All employees are experienced and certified geriatric workers with a demonstrated ability to care for and love seniors.
Community volunteers help to round out our activities program. Residents are encouraged to be involved in individual as well as group activities to keep themselves stimulated daily.

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1993.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide assisted living services to seniors in our community
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Both principals in Lifesprings Eldercare have training and experience in health and social services administration including work experience with Adult Protective Services. They share a love and passion for seniors in the community. It was therefore not difficult for them to start and to continue to provide services to this population.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
a) All members of our team are committed to providing quality care to every
resident on a daily basis.
b) We think outside of the box and are not afraid to take on challenging cases that
other providers might not. Our goal is to move residents from a higher to a
lower level of care. Our staff works with residents to achieve this goal through a
coordinated plan of care involving the facility’s management; delegating nurse,
third party providers; and each and every caregiver.
c) We are also committed to the concept of aging in place. We will continue to
provide care to residents until their needs exceed services which can be
provided in an assisted living facility.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 24 beds in 3 locations – all in the Temple Hills, MD area. Once we are at capacity we will consider further expansion

What type of payments do you accept?
Services may be paid for in several ways: Private Pay; Long Term Care Insurance; Medicaid Waiver; and Subsidized Assistance. Active duty veterans and spouses of veterans may also receive assistance toward cost of care through the military.
Our rates are reasonable and affordable. Charges are not based on a means test. Residents whose assets/income exceed their monthly charge pay the required charge only. Cost of care is dependent on level of care; room selection and the anticipated staff time required to provide quality care.

We are always open. We provide 24-hour staff supervision of our facilities.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Referrals. The best compliment we can receive is one family member telling a prospective family member about the good care that their loved one receives/d at one of our facilities.
